I’d just been there yesterday, and honestly many times in a row. Same guy happened to be working who was there when I was last there. Which was just yesterday?
Now that I think about it, I’ve probably bought around 20+ of these egg biscuits over the past month; could that be a problem? He stepped up to the counter, and I could tell it was mine from the shape the wrapper took. As he finished up my order, he recognized me.
“Back for more egg and biscuit?” he said to me. A friendly, toothy smile spread across his face. But I couldn’t really discern whether it was genuine or fake from his tone.
Not exactly prepared for being recognized for my sandwich spending, I laughed nervously.
“Yeah…” I thanked him quickly for the food and headed out right away, hastily.
It is a waste of money. Why can’t there just be an option to swap the meat for an egg patty? I have to pay extra for absolutely no good reason. Unless these egg patties are more expensive to produce?
There’s no discount when you exclude the meat. But an up-charge when you ask for double egg!!! Wtf!!?!
Did I talk about this before already? I just got the same thing yesterday and was somewhat praising it. But now I’m disappointed. There should be substitution option for an egg patty. Or I could just make it at home and stop my senseless spending.
Later, I got down to working, taking more photos of items to list for sale. But this time around, I wasn’t going to measure and edit in the same session. Figured it might be a good option to split up the workflow and just do photos now, and worry about the extended part of the process later. I really did get a decent amount done.
As I was finishing up, frustrated and a bit discouraged, I looked to my phone to see I sold my first item!
A heart-patterned sweater. Did they buy it for Valentine’s Day? Or was it genuinely a standout item? Maybe my photos were just right. I can’t say for sure.
Made it feel worth all the time I just put into taking photos.
Rather than heading home, I drove around a bit without aim, blasting 19999 until my ears hurt. Can’t say it’s not worth it for the feeling, but is it worth the gas money?
But I couldn’t really head straight home anyway. I needed to go get packing materials for the sale I just made. And, now that I’d thought of it, I still needed to get a birthday gift for my dad. I really had fallen so hard in the battle with my procrastination.
Headed to Target, hoping they’d have packing materials, and maybe I’d find something right for my dad. Since it was getting late, Target was one of the only stores nearby that was open.
How late was it? I’m not sure, but I got him a pack of these cord wrapper holders. You can wrap extension cords to hang them up on a hook, since they have those holes. Holes? Guess they call those metal loops “grommets.”
Not really the most amazing gift to give someone, but knowing him he doesn’t want a lot of material items necessarily just for the sake of having them. He gets sick of dealing with clearing out space and keeping things organized, so I’d hate to burden him more just so I can say, “I got you this isn’t it cool?” and disregard what he’d actually end up doing with it, or how much hassle it’d be to manage it.
Thankfully there were some packing materials, and prices weren’t too steep. I’d print the label, write a thank you note, pack it up, and drop it off at the post office in Meadville tomorrow.
